How much of the available scientific knowledge within the GTTNetwork is already shared? We, the GTTN Secretariat, kindly ask you to provide an overview of all GTTN-related publications. We would like to figure out how much relevant information we are missing if we only take knowledge of the English language literature into account.
The GTTNetwork is dispersed over a vast landscape of local languages and hence also local language literature. When trade barriers are broken, language barriers should follow if we want well-informed decisions to be made. Let us start working on this issue by doing a little survey (please click here to participate) with the following questions:
- How many papers on a GTTN-related topic have you published in journals ?
- How many of those papers were only published in a non-English language? (not counting doubles, in a different language, maybe also under a different title, but still communicating the same content.)
- Why did you decide to only communicate these findings in another language than English?
We will of course update you on the results results. Depending on the replies we can then decide if we collect more detailed data within the GTTN community on this issue to work on a publication.
