The website Global Timber Tracking Network is curated by European Forest Institute in the framework of its coordinating role in the GTTN2 project funded by the German Federal Ministry for Food and Agriculture.
The GTTN Service Provider Directory (SPD) and GTTN Reference Database (REF) were technically implemented by EFI and the University of Connecticut. The project was implemented from October 2016 until June 2020. EFI continues to host the GTTN website and connected information systems SPD and REF in cooperation with the University of Connecticut. The online functionality will be maintained until further notice.
The coordinating role of GTTN Phase 3 was mandated to the International Tropical Timber Organisation. For enquiries about GTTN Phase 3, please refer to a suitable contact person at the International Tropical Timber Organisation.
