This map is a visual representation of the Index Xylariorum 4.1 that was compiled by Anna H. Lynch and Peter E. Gasson (version March 2010), and updated by IAWA under supervision of Frederic Lens (March 2016).
The wood collections have been categorised as follows:
- green: contain samples for use as well as herbarium vouchers
- orange: contain samples for use but no herbarium vouchers
- red: contain no samples for use
Within each category a further subdivision was made:
- check mark: information updated in 2015-2016
- question mark: no updates received since 2010-2014
- exclamation mark: no updates received since 1988-2009
